Shaheer Ahmed

Hi! I’m Shaheer Ahmed — a doctor by training, a researcher by passion, and a traveler at heart. I’ve recently completed my medical studies from Islamabad Medical & Dental College and passed the USMLE Step 1. My journey has taken me from operating rooms at Cleveland Clinic and St. Jude in the U.S. to quiet trails across the Himalayas, Karakoram, and even the Smoky Mountains. Along the way, I’ve authored over a dozen research papers, reviewed for journals like BMJ Innovations and PLOS One, and co-founded and lead Pakistan’s first student-led surgical research network. But outside the academic grind, I live for misty hikes, winding roads, and capturing the little stories that make every place special. This is where those two worlds meet.
