Assistant Manager - Internal Audit Assurance

Job Overview

Masdar is seeking an Assistant Manager for Internal Audit Assurance to lead development and value creation internal audit engagements. This role contributes to providing reasonable assurance that Masdar’s internal controls promote efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical audits covering key business functions and the Investment Life Cycle (ILM).
• Manage the audit team to ensure work is performed per quality requirements and timelines.
• Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to the assigned audit team.
• Support in developing and delivering annual operational business plans and KPIs.
• Manage and execute audit engagements as per the engagement plan, including RCM.
• Review work performed by field auditors and issues received from the field auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Engineering.
• CFA/ CPA/ACACIA/CFE is an asset.
• At least 8 years’ experience in auditing/advisory of Business Development & M&A transactions reviews, Financial Modelling or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of internal auditing and accounting principles and practices.
• Good knowledge of industry program policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
