Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to guest rooms, staff, or departments.
• Place outgoing calls and receive messages, delivering them in a timely manner.
• Log all service requests, defects, and incidents in GXP.
• Provide information about hotel services to guests.
• Monitor automated systems, including CCTV, when the engineering and maintenance department is closed.
• Ensure room service orders are taken efficiently and accurately for timely delivery.

Requirements

• Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone.
• Multitasking abilities are essential.
• Ability to train or assist in training new telephone operators.
• Awareness of and adherence to health and safety, fire, and bomb threat procedures.
