Job Overview

A Reservations Agent will serve as the main contact for room reservations at the hotel; and therefore, must offer an excellent service and influence the Guest decision to stay at the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to all inquiries in a highly professional & personalized manner.
• Offering the most suitable room types and curating the experience based on guest preference.
• Handling modification or cancellation inquiries from guests and partners.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, regular bookers, and repeaters.
• Handling all incoming emails related to reservations promptly as per standard response time.
• Following up on payments for reservations which require prepayments.

Requirements

• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• A highly professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding administration and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Previous experience in a Reservations environment (advantageous).
• Tertiary qualifications, or other collegiate-level degree (advantageous).
