Resident Engineer

Job Overview

Mirage is hiring a full-time, on-site Resident Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee construction for a prestigious development (villa / hotel / infrastructure). You’ll lead site supervision, quality and safety compliance, program control, and stakeholder coordination to deliver high-end assets on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site supervision for villas/hotel/infrastructure works; enforce drawings, specs, and standards.
• Monitor quality (QA/QC), health & safety (HSE), and environmental compliance; conduct inspections and sign-offs.
• Track schedule and progress; mitigate risks, variations, and delays; escalate issues promptly.
• Coordinate design clarifications/RFIs with consultants, contractors, and client representatives.
• Review method statements, ITPs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Lead site meetings; issue site instructions/NCRs; verify measurements and support payment certification.
• Maintain comprehensive reporting, records, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years as Resident Engineer on hotel, tower, infrastructure, or luxury villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural & architectural works; proven multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Proficient in site supervision, documentation, and reporting; GCC experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, decisive, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
