Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures across all departments.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, recommending effective corrective and preventative actions.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all levels of staff.
• Ensure strict compliance with local, national, and international health and safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate safety records, prepare detailed reports, and analyze safety performance data.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Safety Specialist or similar role, preferably in a large-scale industrial or catering environment.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, ICAO safety guidelines).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct thorough investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging and influencing diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate a proactive approach to safety.
