Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the organization’s long-term engineering, asset integrity, and maintenance strategy.
Advise the CEO and Board on major technical risks, asset performance insights, and strategic investment priorities.
Lead engineering governance, technical standards, equipment lifecycle management, and reliability improvement programs.
Drive modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Oversee major maintenance programs, fleet upgrades, capital projects, and technology deployment.
Build and lead a high-performing engineering and maintenance organization while strengthening cross-functional alignment with Operations, HSE, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

20+ years of progressive engineering and maintenance leadership experience in drilling or upstream energy operations.
Proven success in executive-level technical strategy, asset management, and reliability performance improvement.
Strong expertise in drilling equipment, rigs, major maintenance programs, and lifecycle engineering.
Demonstrated capability leading large, geographically dispersed technical teams.
Outstanding executive presence, communication skills, and ability to influence at CEO/Board level.
