Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organization’s long-term engineering, asset integrity, and maintenance strategy.
• Advise the CEO and Board on major technical risks, asset performance insights, and strategic investment priorities.
• Lead engineering governance, technical standards, equipment lifecycle management, and reliability improvement programs.
• Drive modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Oversee major maintenance programs, fleet upgrades, capital projects, and technology deployment.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering and maintenance organization while strengthening cross-functional alignment with Operations, HSE, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• 20+ years of progressive engineering and maintenance leadership experience in drilling or upstream energy operations.
• Proven success in executive-level technical strategy, asset management, and reliability performance improvement.
• Strong expertise in drilling equipment, rigs, major maintenance programs, and lifecycle engineering.
• Demonstrated capability leading large, geographically dispersed technical teams.
• Outstanding executive presence, communication skills, and ability to influence at CEO/Board level.
